My goal is to make the mortgage process as understandable as possible. If you are a repeat customer, the process may go quite quickly, but if you are a first-time buyer, I will take the time to make sure that you understand where every dollar on the closing disclosure is going, and why.
I greatly enjoy guiding future homeowners through the entire process, explaining everything from title insurance and mortgage insurance to how we get paid. Total transparency in the loan process is my goal.
Virtually all of my business comes from repeat business and referrals from prior customers. It's gratifying when I have the opportunity to work with the children of long-time customers! I take extreme pleasure in attending a closing (I try to attend them all), knowing that my borrower will not have any questions about the numbers. When this happens, I know I have done my job.
I am a people person, and I like face-to-face contact. So, I prefer applications in person, but also realize that in today's world this is not always possible, as business over the web is more and more prevalent. I will try to make the web applications as personal as possible, and I will make certain that we have as much phone time as needed to make sure you don't have any questions.
I enjoy traveling. I have visited all of the states and Canadian provinces, except for Newfoundland. I've also experienced 17 foreign nations, with wonderful memories of all of them – especially Bulgaria, where we adopted a daughter.
I have a son who is married and lives in Chicago, and my wonderful daughter who lives here in Waukesha.
I love antique cars, and hope someday to own a 1928-1932 Hudson, Nash, Studebaker or a similar auto.
